Name: Penny H.
Job Title: Business Administrator. I handle all of our accounting, payroll, bills, anything to keep the business running smoothly! I have had this position for almost 15 years!
My favorite service here at Beyond Beaute is massage. Luckily, massage can counteract the imbalance caused from sitting. My job requires me to sit for prolonged periods of time and having a massage on a regular basis not only helps with the lower back pain but also helps to relieve the stress and tension in my neck and shoulders.
Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup is my favorite product we carry. I’m hooked on Jane Iredale’s mineral makeup because it doesn’t feel or look like I’m wearing makeup. But at the same time covers completely and it lasts all day long! It provides very good coverage and it gives more of a natural look without clogging pores and it feels very light on the skin.
There are many things that I love about my job. I love the work environment. I love the friendship that is formed with co-workers. I love that everyone cares and that you have flexibility when needed. I love that I get to interact with such a varied group, which means I am always learning. I love that my job challenges me every day in different ways. And last but certainly not least, I love being a part of something that makes a difference in people’s lifes.
Thanks Penny!

Position: Lead Licensed Professional Massage Therapist, I help and assist my clients relax physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to enhance mobility in their everyday lifestyle.
My favorite service to provide is the warm stone massage. We use smooth, heated stones to massage the client. We also use the stones to strategically apply weight to our clients’ bodies. It so relaxing with the heat and perfect for reliving winter stress.
My favorite product for clients and to use myself is our Soulage therapeutic wraps. We offer the neck wraps to all of our clients who come in for appointments. But you can also buy them from us to use at home. They can give warm comfort at home, as well as therapeutic and aromatherapy benefits.
I love working at Beyond Beaute because I can provide my clients with the most uplifting services that they need and provide many different options for them. I’ve been working here since March 2012. It’s always fun times with my co-workers! We have parties by going out together and pot lucks. I love my girls!
Name: Dorothy R
Position: Spa Director- Clear Lake
I got my degree in Hospitality from the Hilton College at U of H with an area of Emphasis on Spa Management, I feel so lucky I get to do exactly what I went to school for; that doesn’t happen often! I’ve been working for Beyond Beaute for three and a half years. My responsibilities as Spa Director include working with all of our staff at the Clear Lake location, assisting in hiring, managing inventory, and special events.
My favorite products are anything from the Blinc Make-Up Line. I LOVE the way it tubes my lashes, I get asked all the time if they are fake! And the best part about their product line is that you don’t need any make-up remover to take it off, just water!
For services, it’s a tie. I love the HydraFacial because I have incredibly dry and sensitive skin, it makes my face feel refreshed and incredibly hydrated. I also love our Bioline Slimming Wraps, I’ve never had a treatment that makes me feel so skinny while still getting a little of the massage/relaxation element! The first time I got one done I got asked by a few different employees if I had lost weight, I call that a win!
I love the way we make people feel both inside and out. We’re either helping them with their skin, aching body, relieving stress, or just making them feel more beautiful and you can really tell a difference in their mood from the time they enter to the time their experience is over. To make it even better, it is such a rewarding feeling for the Technicians to be able to make their Clients feel great about themselves. This makes for a happy environment in the Spa!
Thanks for participating in our Employee Spotlight, Dorothy!
